The Kresge Garden Cooperative's Events
Work Meetings: These are held once a week. During these, all members, interns and volunteers discuss and plan all matters related to the garden. This is done in a cooperative and consensus based manner.
Garden Work Days: These happen twice a week. Once on Sunday morning and one other time throughout the week which changes quarter to quarter. During these all members, interns and volunteers work and learn together in the garden in order to complete a variety of projects.
Garden Hours: These are held throughout the week by individual members. They are held at different times and days each quarter. During these garden hours, volunteers and interns are able to shadow and help members who are working on a variety of projects.
Garden Workshops: These are held once a quarter and are meant to be a platform for skill-sharing and collaboration.
Garden Fairs: These are held once a quarter and are fun events meant to foster relationships within and around the garden. During these, the community partakes in the harvest and enjoys the garden and one another.
